I have always
wanted to be an
artist and I
feel very very
lucky to be able
to paint for my
living. I have
had no formal
art training and
I am completely
self taught.
The internet has
provided me with
the opportunity
to sell my
directly to
collectors all
across the
world. I have
always painted a
variety of
subjects. I have
been amazed at
my success and
have been very
busy with
special
commissions.

About the art
Most of my
paintings shown
here are small
simple
watercolours. I
have always had
an interest in
animals and
birds and I love
to draw and
sketch them, I
have a sketch
book full of
ideas, drawings
and sketches of
sorts of
different
animals. Many
drawn from life
and others
following on
from previous
sketches.
The mini
paintings are
perfect for a
miniature
collection and
they look great
in multiples or
groups. They can
be framed in a
tiny frame or
mounted and hung
in a larger
frame. Please

details.
My technique for
painting my
simplest 'line
watercolours' is
to draw the
animal quickly
in a few
sweeping
motions, finally
adding the eyes
and any other
details. This
captures the
fluidity of
movement and
grace seen in
living
creatures,
suggesting their
basic shapes and
letting the
viewers eye and
imagination fill
in what is not
shown.
I create my pen
and watercolour
paintings of all
sorts of animals
in a wide range
of colours.
I don’t only
paint mini
paintings... I
often painted
the 'line' style
of painting on
large canvases
with an abstract
feel to them. My
dancing cat
series consists
of vibrant
abstract
backgrounds and
silhouettes of
dancing cats in
front .. more of
these soon.
All my paintings
are original
hand painted
artworks. Each
one is a unique
artwork and you
can be sure you
are receiving
something
special.
